Networking is one of the most common and beneficial activities Chamber members engage in. Most of our events we schedule throughout the year contain some form of relationship-building which ultimately creates the foundation of networking. Some of our networking opportunities include:
Business After Hours
Unwind after your work day and connect with the local business community. Business After Hours is a relaxing way to end your day, meet new people and enhance your business and personal relationships.
BUSINESS AFTER HOURS is one of the Chamber's most popular programs and is hosted each month by a Chamber member business. It is designed for members to meet and build relationships with other Chamber businesses along with providing the ultimate opportunity to network. Our Business After Hours begin at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. usually on the third Thursday of every month. Business After Hours are FREE for Chamber members!

Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings
One of the most exciting events for a business, whether new or existing, is celebrating a grand opening and/or ribbon cutting! The Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce offers its assistance in the planning and preparation of your Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. We provide the 'giant' scissors and the ribbon. Our staff will photograph the event to 'capture the moment' and we send it to the Daily Union to publish and will be featured in our Monthly Chamber Page and BusinessLink publication.
There is no charge for the Chamber's involvement; it is a value-added benefit of being a member of the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce.
Take a step away from your day to day work and view the region with a new perspective! Leaders’ Retreat is our annual retreat where Regional Chamber members, government leaders and educators formally discuss current issues and plan on how to make the regional community a great place in which to live, work and enjoy. It also provides our community leaders a structured time to work and plan together for the regions future. CLICK HERE for more information
