The primary mission of The Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Club is the retention of existing JCACC Members, enlistment of new members, and to serve as goodwill representatives of the chamber at a variety of functions. This energetic group helps maintain contact with other Chamber members while promoting JCACC and its purpose. Ambassadors attend Chamber functions and serve as “meeters and greeters" at Chamber events such as monthly Business After Hours, Military Affairs Breakfasts, Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings, and other Chamber events (i.e. Expo’s, Lunch & Learns, Membership Drive, etc.).

What are Ambassador benefits?
Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors develop new business contacts in the Junction City area while increasing the community-wide recognition for themselves and their companies. Ambassadors learn new skills by working side by side with other talented professionals who work within the Greater Junction City Area.  Ambassadors receive recognition at Chamber Networking events and Annual Dinner. Ambassador's benefit from networking with those members that they mentor, and in turn make great connections for their employers and businesses.

How do Ambassadors benefit the Chamber?
Ambassadors integrate members into the Chamber’s programs and services by meeting and greeting members at Breakfasts, Business After Hours, Ribbon Cuttings and other events. They help with membership retention through personal contact and keeping new members as informed and involved as possible. They promote attendance and participation at Chamber events and help publicize Chamber events.

How does a Junction City area businessperson become a Chamber Ambassador?
Interested Chamber members should be willing to become actively involved with various events and committees of the Chamber. Only with this kind of commitment can the group achieve its goals and maintain its standard of excellence and service to the Chamber. Your involvement as an Ambassador is a volunteer representing the Chamber to the business and professional community. Ambassadors make commitments to attend the monthly meeting held on the third Wednesday of the month at 8:00 a.m. at the Chamber of Commerce. Ambassadors also commit to attending events such as Breakfasts, Business After Hours, ribbon cuttings, membership luncheons, and other events as their time allows.

Requirements to remain an Ambassador:
Diligently attend the meetings and various events of the Chamber. Be a member in good standing of The Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce and participate in programs and activities sponsored by the Chamber. Participation in the Ambassadors program requires a commitment on both the part of the Ambassador and his/her company. Ambassadors are asked to make a one-year commitment to the program. Ambassadors can expect to spend 3-4 hours per month fulfilling expectations. Ambassadors receive five to ten businesses to mentor throughout their year long commitment. Interaction is tracked and reported monthly to ensure new members are being contacted.

Become an Ambassador:
If your organization has an employee who would be a perfect candidate as an Ambassador, or you are interested in becoming an Ambassador, please email info@jcacc.org and a chamber employee will be in touch with you to answer any questions and invite you to our next monthly. Thank you for your interest!
