The Military Affairs Council (MAC), is the Chamber link to Fort Riley and facilitator of the connection of the military to our community.  The development of this relationship is to recognize the mutual dependency and respect one has for the other.

Relationships are built in many ways which include: through attending military ceremonies, welcoming and providing local information to incoming soldiers, attending various army related activities such as, division reunions, award ceremonies and recognition events; Association of the U.S. Army and Society of the First Infantry Division activities, being present when soldiers deploy and when they return from deployment, providing opportunities for community leaders to interact with military leaders at all levels and much more.

A MAC breakfast is held monthly on the fourth Thursday, except for November and December. This event brings together community and military leaders in an informal setting where a guest speaker presents information on a topic of mutual interest.
