New Teachers Breakfast

At the beginning of the school year USD 475 welcomes anywhere from 100-120 new teachers to our school district. Serving our military community means that PCS season affects the staffing, and we have an influx of new to the area teachers as well as teachers starting their careers. Every year the Chamber collects items (promotional material, gifts and community information) from Chamber members to fill tote bags that are given to each new teacher at the event. It's a perfect way to welcome new teachers and also let them know some of what Junction City/Geary County has to offer! Community members are welcome to purchase tickets and join us at the breakfast!
Saint Xavier's schedule does not always allow for them to join us, but we will deliver their new teachers bags and breakfast as well.
